The Beaudier Painter. Third Eye. L or H: 240 cm. (4/17/2011) Rotary picture. Revolving table.

7th Toile Structurellist of the Painter Beaudier the Third Eye has 4 different directions of reading, on the level of the composition it thus exists 4 distinct analyzes. To examine the analyzes according to the 4 positions click on the figures above. The 3rd eye called also interior eye or eye of the heart is an allegory which indicates the self-knowledge and this in several cultures, sciences or philosophies completely different on the level from the goals as well as means. The Taoism (4th century before J-C) is one, tradition of Chinese philosophy. Lao-Tseu defines wisdom thus: “ To know the others, it is wisdom. To know oneself, it is higher wisdom. To impose its will on the others, it is force. To impose it on oneself, it is higher force. ”. In India, Tilak or Bindi is a red circle painted in the middle of the face like a third eye. It is the eye of knowledge. In Upanishads, an human being is described like a city with 10 doors: 9 nine doors lead to the world of the directions, the third eye is it tenth door which leads to the interior world. Upanishads are texts esoteric and mystical Indian, they belong to Veda. The philosophical concepts contained in Upanishad were used as a basis for Hindu philosophy and Vedanta.
The main concern of Upanishads is the nature of the universal heart. The exposed fundamental doctrines are the identity between the heart and the divine one is Brahma. The other topics approached are the nature and the goal of the existence and the various ways of meditating. “Know yourself” of Socrate and of the Greeks asks to be observed as being thinking, while rising above particular feelings and of the opinions which are always only one illusion of data. For the Greek philosophers, the knowledge of oneself is synonymous of wisdom. It indeed makes it possible to the individual to become aware of his own limits, its true identity and thereafter of its freedom. The introspection term comes from Latin “introspectus” action to look at inside. Introspection was the principal method used at the beginnings of experimental psychology, at the end of the 19th century. In is psychiatry, introspection often used and does one see badly how the therapeutist could do some, who better than the person can know directly than it occurs in itself? In psychoanalysis self-analysis was born when Freud regarded the dreams as expressions human except for whole and developped at the point a method to interpret them. This practice, for, is not reserved to the founder of the psychoanalysis as much.
It is accessible to all those which accept their unconscious. However, to open with its irrational share requires rigor and clearness. In its work “the development of the person” (1966) Carl Rogers describes the continuum of the process of integration of the personality. At the 7th stage of the process of individuation: “the subject makes the experiment of the effective choice in new manners of being. ”. The 3rd eye is thus open. A new more widened conscience of the person itself and outside world becomes accessible. Work the 3rd Eye is clearly symbolic system, for this reason, nothing is not left randomly. First of all the title the 3rd eye and the fact that this one consists of 3 triangles imbricated one in another but dependant between them by the colors. The 3 is synonymous with solution and new life. As the child who symbolizes the future the 3 is a product of the 2, there is in him an element of will, an idea, something of combative. In all the old religions the gods appear by groups of 3. In the Hindu religion the absolute power is in Brahma, god creative, in Vishnou the soft conservative and Shiva the large destructor. Christianity knows the Trinity, triples appearance of the Father of the Son and the Holy Spirit who are Trinité and however also unit.
They are 3 women Nornes who weave the destiny in Scandinavian mythologies. Among Greeks the 3 Parques weave and cut the wire of the life. 3 Kings Mages come to pay homage to Christ in the sheep-fold. Resurrection takes place the 3rd day. In the tales are often 3 sisters, 3 brothers or 3 animals which bring material changes. One strikes by 3 times wood to entreat the bad fate and it is necessary to make a triple call so that the spirits become favorable. The life is articulated around the past, of the present and the future. When the 3 appears something occurs, energy spouts out, the life takes a sometimes new direction. The 3 is a number acting and powerful. II means to become. As a number the 3 calls the 4 and there are 4 possible positions of reading for the fabric of the Beaudier Painter. Also 4 seasons ago in one year whole, 4 elements: the ground, water, fire and the air and the man are directed according to the 4 cardinal points. The oneiric symbolism of the 4 milked with the transformation of the human personality. In “Psychology and Alchemy” Jung shows which was the importance of the 4 for the alchemy which, as we know it today was with the service of the individuation. The examples are numerous which show that the 4 is positive and of divine and crowned origin. There exist 4 Gospels and in the biblical legend the 4 rivers of the paradise run towards the 4 directions of the world.
The Beaudier Painter. Third Eye. Position 1.
In this position the isosceles triangle containing the center is in the medium, the multicoloured wave is on the right and the circular motion on the basis of the center seems to move line towards the left. This movement coming from the central point diffuses and includes all the left part of work, the tree on the left twists and becomes deformed and even the bottom with dominant blue follows the circular motion. The tree of right-hand side seems aspired by the center and he also is projected savagely towards the left. Of each with dimensions of the fabric on the right and on the left 2 multicoloured arcs in sky are spread, they contain the 3 primary colors: yellow, red, blue, and 3 secondary colors: orange, green, purple. The movement, in this position is clearly of the right-hand side towards the left but as there are other positions and than the fabric turns work is not fixed, like nature and the totality of the universe it is in perpetual movement. If it is a universal law it is well this one, any exchange, all change, continuously, perpetually, since the beginning and until the end of times.
The point of view of the spectator is at the center, the glance is immediately attracted by the central point, then it follows the natural movement of the work which moves towards the left.
The prospect is central, the picture is built on the 4 natural points for interests.
The picture is composed of 3 overlapping triangles. In this position the central triangle symbolizes the present, that of left the past and the triangle of right-hand side the future. Here the movement is propagated from right to left towards the past.
Concerning the colors more or less dark blue occupies more half of pictorial space. Blue symbolizes the world of the ideas and the thought.
Then, here especially in the center and on the left the yellow or the orange comes. These colors symbolize the intuition and the presentiment. Then comes the green color from the vegetable life and the red color of passion but also of the mercy.
If we interpret the language of the colors we can say that the artist has an intuitive thought which indicates to him that the world is in perpetual movement and change.
Details :
The central eye acts like a tornado or a cyclone on the 2 side parts, it deforms the left part and seems to aspire the left side. If it is the eye of knowledge it is an awakening that any bulge and all is in constantly in displacement.
Being subject to the influence of the central storm this part of picture is unstable, in torsion and deformation.
Other with dimensions the tree seems aspired by the center and tightens its branches towards the left, one distinguishes elements which seem in flight, of the sheets of red color of which one with the shape of a heart. Which place for the feelings in this perpetual motion ?
Lumière en rotation.
The yellow and the orange gilded induce the essence of the light. There is an effect of rotation in the center and from each with dimensions these 2 hot colors draw aside the glance.
Colors : Double contrast between complementary colors.
Harmonize and Contrasts.
The colors green and red, blue and gilded are opposite on the chromatic circle.
There is a double contrast between complementary colors.

Impermanency and Movement. In the universe any subatomic interaction consists of the annihilation of the particles of origin and of the creation of new subatomic particles. The universe is a dance without end of creation and of annihilation, matter becoming energy then becoming again matter. Transitory forms appear and disappear in a flash, generating a reality without end, constantly recreated. Is our life other thing that this ballet of transitory forms ? Doesn't all change continuously ? The sheets of the trees in the garden, the light in the part where you read these lines, seasons, time that it makes, the hour that it is… (Lama Rimpoché).
The Galaxy of Andromède.
In the spiral galaxies, the stars move on circular orbits at speeds which increase with their distances to the center. The galaxy of Andromède is a galaxy in the shape of spiral, similar to the Milky Way. It is the celestial body most remote which one can observe with the naked eye. It is located in the constellation of Andromède.
La Galaxie M 100.
On the edge of the spiral discs, one measured speeds of 300 km/s to distances of 150,000 light-years. This image of the galaxy M 100 was taken in December 1993 by the Hubble space telescope. This spiral galaxy is located between 35 million and 80 million light-years of the Earth
Vincent Van Gogh. The Starlight night. ((1889).
Vincent feels to him also the force which lies in nature it wants to aspire the spectator in work. As the Painter Beaudier it uses an enormous central spiral in the middle of the sky and a wave of light which crosses its picture from right to left.

The Beaudier Painter. Third Eye. Position 2.
To make turn the picture of a quarter of turn towards the left modifies all. The composition is not any more of the same one. But doesn't a gust of wind modify to you it not the aspect of one tree to the autumn while making fall some sheets? Does your dwelling, according to the lighting of the sun, have same appearance? Is the night it similar to the day? To refuse the movement is to refuse the change, therefore the life itself. The life like nature is in perpetual movement and the changes which you do not perceive yet approach very quickly…
The eye or the central spiral of work acts to the top, towards the world of the ideas and the thought. The tree of bottom seems to rise and the arc in sky located at its base resembles its roots as torn off ground. The picture expresses the idea of rise.
Almost of exaltation. The whirling movement of the central spiral is carried out line towards the left in the opposite direction of the needles of a watch.
The point of view of the spectator is always at the center, but the glance rises immediately, it follows the natural movement of this position which attracts it upwards.
The prospect remains central, the picture remains always built on the 4 natural points of interests.
In this position the zones with dominant blue are turned towards the future, the zone yellows or are gilded rather to the top, therefore the spirit.
Under this aspect the picture is really positive. The future is full with promises and ideas. The spirit is active it seeks and called upon its intuition. If we always interpret the language of the colors we can say that the artist has an intuitive thought which indicates to him that the world is in perpetual movement and change. It is even clearer in this position 2.
The picture is always composed of 3 overlapping triangles. But their position changed. The central triangle which symbolizes the present is turned towards the future, that the top is synonymous with the spirit and the triangle of bottom represents the world of the directions and tangible reality. The movement is propagated upwards reality towards the world of the thought.
Details :
The central spiral and the upper part of multicoloured vagueness cause movement on the central part and high of picture. It is a large swirl meaning that we belong integral part to a continual and ceaseless movement.

The high part is always unstable and deformed but on the top the arc in sky projects in height an energy, a breath, showing that all this frenzy is not useless.
To the bottom of the table the tree is aspired by the large central swirl. Nature and immediately accessible reality are affected by the order of the things and the permanent mobility of the world and the entire universe.
Light :
The yellow and the orange gilded induce the essence of the light.
In this position the light turns in the center and goes up towards the sky or the kingdom of the spirit.
The Beaudier Painter. Third Eye. Position 3.
Position 3 of the Third Eye is opposite position 1. The image is reversed and its direction becomes different the 4 positions from this rotary picture modify its significance. Nothing is never solidified, any bulge and a table which turns implies several interpretations in the analysis. The eye or the spiral of the center acts here towards the line thus towards the future. Especially large vagueness blue, yellow, green and red is now in top in the world of the ideas proof that a current of thought, that new concepts are moving because this wave is the true source of the central tornado. It is truly in this position that this fact becomes obvious. From where does it emerge? It is a wave, an liquid element in charge of color, water refers to the depth of the spirit, as him it spouts out and crosses the landscapes of the heart by the large ones or small waterways, then become ocean, it extends ad infinitum. Sometimes water goes down from the sky and becomes fertilizing rain, water in his relationship with the sky becomes an expression of the spirit and the man regenerates himself in it and is offered to spiritual by means of the baptism. The vagueness of the Beaudier Painter is multicoloured it contains the 3 primary education colors blue, the yellow and the red. It is by projecting multiple colors that the artist wants to change our vision and to show us the beauty, the splendor and the depth of nature under all its aspects.
The point of view of the spectator is at the center, the glance is immediately attracted by the central point, then it follows the natural movement of the picture which moves towards the line.

Then comes the green color from the vegetable life and the red color of passion but also of the mercy. If we interpret the language of the colors we can say that the artist has an intuitive thought which indicates to him that the future of the world must change because this one is in perpetual movement and change.
The picture is composed of 3 overlapping triangles. In this position the central triangle symbolizes the present, that of left the past and the triangle of right-hand side the future. Here the movement is propagated from left to right towards the future.
Details :

This immense wave is at the origin of all. Eye, spiral, tornado, change. It comes from deepest to be it, of the subsoils of the unconscious one. It is only by making a pushed introspection, an even powerful and consequent return in us that these forces are accessible. The artist did it.
Being subject to the influence of the central storm this part of picture is unstable, in torsion and deformation.
On the left side the tree seems aspired by the center and tightens its branches towards the line, one distinguishes elements which seem in flight, of the sheets or of the petals of red color of which one with the shape of a heart.
Light :

The yellow and the orange gilded induce the essence of the light. There is an effect of rotation in the center, and from each with dimensions these 2 hot colors draw aside the glance.
The Beaudier Painter. Third Eye. Position 4.
This position is contrary to position 2.
We deal here in table which turns. The picture is motorized on the back and the spectator sees work moving constantly. This process makes it possible to make feel mobility, the evolution, the change natural and continual of nature and all that surrounds us. It also allows by accentuating the optical effect of the central spiral to aspire and absorb the spectator in the picture. This step is meadows close to that of Vincent Van Gogh in the Starlight night (1889) which to him also uses spirals and a large wave of light to aspire the eye of the spectator and to make him feel the forces which nature contains. Vincent Van Gogh - the Beaudier Painter: even goal but average different! Bond.
The point of view of the spectator is always at the center, but the glance goes down immediately, it follows the natural movement of this position which attracts it downwards.
The prospect remains central, the picture is built on the 4 natural points for interests.
In this position the zones with dominant blue are turned towards the left i.e. towards the past, the zone yellows or are gilded rather to the bottom, therefore the directions and the real-world. Under this aspect the fabric means that the men did not always take account of nature and the changes. If we interpret the language of the colors we can say that the artist considers it regrettable that no clear vision of the nature of the things and the movement was never taken into account.
There exist always 3 overlapping triangles.
But their position changed.
The central triangle which symbolizes the present is turned towards the past, that the top is synonymous with the spirit and the triangle of bottom represents the world of the directions and tangible reality.
The movement is propagated from top to bottom of the world of the thought and of present towards the real-world and of physical and concrete reality.
The artist notes that many errors were made and that it tightened time that one considers certain forces to change the things.
Details :
The principal spiral and the upper part of multicoloured vagueness cause movement on the central part and low of work. This great whirling means that the movement of the things and the universe affects reality and concerns us much more directly than we think it.
The low part very unstable and is deformed, as it is reality it is rather worrying and in any case enough acting to challenge us.
This tree in top has the upside down, a position not at all natural for a tree. He is aspired by the large central swirl. The changes and the movement are not always positive, it arrives sometimes that nature is opposed even ridiculed. Look in the topicality of the moment if some serious threats do not relate to whole planet, atomic and come from the East in particular .....
Light :
The yellow and the orange gilded induce the essence of the light. In this position the light turns in the center and goes down to the bottom, towards reality and concrete reality. Something occurs and acts, even and especially in the present.
